Identify local priorities, available resources, and practical barriers with community members and partners.
EWWRA describes its work across more than 13 African countries, adapting water, energy, and environmental solutions to local contexts.
The communities and ecosystems we work with have different needs, landscapes, and resources. EWWRA’s approach is to collaborate with local governments, community organisations, NGOs, researchers, and other partners to shape solutions that fit each setting.
From clean energy in rural areas to water source protection, climate-smart practices, and responsible waste management, projects are strongest when people who use and maintain them help shape them from the beginning.
